Local Attractions
Cornwall is renowned for its coastal scenery; wild cliffs, wide sandy beaches, coves and fishing villages. Inland there is the rugged Bodmin Moor, and many historic houses and gardens. The old market towns of Bodmin and Wadebridge provide local services and leisure facilities, whilst Padstow, with its busy harbour, offers excellent restaurants serving local fish dishes.
The Camel Trail bicycle track runs from Padstow along the Camel estuary to Bodmin. Bikes can be hired along the trail for this traffic free 17 mile route along a disused railway track.
Within an easy drive can be reached both the Eden Project, with its world famous biomes housing plants from the tropics and mediterranean climes, and the Lost Gardens of Heligan, an insight into Edwardian gardening at its zenith.
